Frankincense – annointing with
Today I anointed the feet of my husband and youngest son with Young Living’s Frankincense essential oil.
A feeling of being so blessed came over me and I shared that with them. Why did I feel so blessed? I thought about how many people in this world have the knowledge, understanding and ability to obtain Frankincense essential oil in it’s purest and most sacred form to use on themselves and their lived ones the way Joseph and Mary were able to use it on baby Jesus after the wise men brought it for them as a gift.
I also have Myrrh oil and that was also considered to be so sacred that wise men of old brought it to their king of kings.
These oils are so precious because if they are unadulterated and extracted from the highest quality resins at the most appropriate time their healing properties are enormous; their scent, divine; and their ability to uplift the spirit to a higher level, magical.
Anyone who says they have studied the bible but has not read the book depicted here, Healing Oils of the Bible, may not have fully understood it or the power and usage of essential oils written about during the biblical times.
I remember as a child reading the bible and thinking that all these healing substances that were being spoken about must be extinct or why would we not be using them as Christians. Now I know it was a lack of understanding and interpretation that was the reason.
Every person, not just Christians but those of all faiths, as these oils were also mentioned in many religious and sectarian texts and in the Old Testament when Moses in 30:23:24 gave the formula for the Holy Anointing Oil, should consider blessing themselves and their lives with these precious God-Given substances.
